I just finished writing the second full-length novel in the Martingale cycle.
Lucky Ghost is a stand-alone novel that's set several years after the events of Sockpuppet. It fast forwards to a world where the sharing economy has invaded every aspect of our lives and everything is tradable. Work on the Martingale books continues apace as I'm also working on a prequel set in the 1960s, working title This is tomorrow.
But my main focus at the moment is a completely separate novel, working title People Who Liked. This is set in the present day, among the big data manipulators who help shift the opinions of millions of people – and sometimes help populist demagogues win elections. This is of course a work of COMPLETE fiction....
